Throughout the years, the franchise became bigger, encompassing comics, novels, web series, a TV series, and even video games. Terminator: Resistance is an action game by a small Poland-based studio named Teyon. It is a first-person shooter game set in a post-apocalyptic world that will have players battle machines. Experience the events that led up to the decisive final battle between humans and machines. Terminator: Resistance will let you live out events from the iconic franchise.

Terminator: Resistance is an officially licensed game of the movie franchise. It is set during the Future War scenario that was only glimpsed at in two of the Terminator movies, The Terminator and T2: Judgement Day. The story of the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, nearly 30 years after Judgement Day. The city is completely taken over by machines, and the remaining humans are sticking together to fight and survive. Players will take on the role of Jacob Rivers, the brand-new hero in the Terminator universe. He is a soldier in the Resistance led by John Connor, specifically targeted by the enemies. The game will have you control Jacob Rivers as he leads a motley crew of survivors, each with their motivations and backstories.
Terminator: Resistance will not only bring the Terminator universe to your computer device. It will also feature some iconic enemies from the films, including the T-800. The game comes with story missions that you need to complete to rise through the ranks of the Resistance. It will also give you side-quests to help your friends. Players will be equipped with an arsenal of plasma weaponry, which they can use to beat the machines.
However, don’t let the weaponry fool you into thinking that this game is packed with explosions and shootouts. The game will actually have whole sections without you touching the trigger. The game features lots of sneaking, hacking, and picking locks that it doesn’t seem like your usual FPS game. In fact, it seemed like it belongs to another category, a story-focused single-player FPS.
